Do

  • Face the camera in soft daylight, close up
  • Show your pet’s whole head, eyes open
  • Use the original photo, not a screenshot. On iPhone, pick straight from Photos
  • Old photos work too, even of a pet who has passed

Skip

  • Blurry, dark or far-away photos
  • Sunglasses, filters or heavy edits
  • Lots of people or pets in one photo
