Who we are
Bowwies (bowwies.com) makes AI portraits of you and your pet. You can reach us at help@bowwies.com. By using Bowwies you agree to these terms.
What Bowwies is
Bowwies makes AI-made portraits of you and your pet together, from a selfie and a photo of your pet, and portraits of just your pet, from a photo of them. They are new images made by AI, not real photographs.
Previews
Your first preview is free, with no account or card. Previews are watermarked, and each person can make 5 free previews a day. A preview may come with up to 2 bonus looks, also free to see.
Prices and payment
Prices are in US dollars. Your first portrait is $19, and each extra look from the same preview is $7, so 2 looks are $26 and all 3 are $33. Each is a high-resolution digital download with no watermark. Payment is a one-time charge through Stripe, which sells to you on our behalf (it is the seller of record) and adds any sales tax or VAT where it applies.
Delivery
Once you’ve paid, your portraits are ready on a private download page straight away, and we email you the link. Keep the link private: anyone with it can see your portraits. Lost it? Email help@bowwies.com.
Photo rules
You must be 18 or over. The person photo must be you, or someone who said yes. You must have the right to use both photos. No photos of children as the main subject, no famous people, and nothing explicit, violent or hateful. We may block photos that break these rules.
AI results can vary
Each portrait is made by AI, so details may differ from your photos. That’s why your preview is free: you see it before you pay.
Redos and refunds
If your paid portrait isn’t right, email help@bowwies.com within 14 days with what’s wrong. We’ll redo it free, up to 3 times. If we still can’t get it right, we’ll refund that portrait. Portraits are digital and ready straight away, so by buying you ask us to deliver them right away, and the usual 14-day right to cancel ends once they’re delivered. This doesn’t affect your rights if a portrait is faulty or not as described.
Your photos and your portrait
Your photos stay yours. We use them only to make your portraits, as our Privacy page explains. Your portrait is yours to use for personal use, like sharing it, printing it, framing it or giving it as a gift. Please don’t present it as a real photograph in a way that could mislead people.
If something goes wrong
We work hard to keep Bowwies running, but we can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. If an order fails and we can’t deliver it, we’ll refund it in full. Apart from that, and as far as the law allows, our responsibility for any order is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing here limits rights you have by law.
Changes
We may update these terms. The terms in place when you pay apply to that order.
The law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere, you keep any protections your local law gives you.
