Is it a real photo, or AI?
It’s an AI portrait. It looks like a real photo, not a cartoon, but it’s a new image our AI makes using your selfie and your pet’s photo. Results can vary, which is why your first preview is free.
Do we need a photo of us together?
No, that’s the whole idea. Send a selfie and a photo of your pet, taken anywhere, any day, even years apart. Our AI puts you two together.
Can I get a portrait of just my pet?
Yes. Pick Best in Show. It needs only a photo of your pet, no selfie.
Can I use an old photo, or one of a pet who has passed?
Yes. Any clear photo works, even one from years ago, as long as your pet’s face is easy to see. If your pet has passed, we hope it gives you one more picture of you two to keep.
Will it really look like my pet?
Our AI works from your pet’s own photo to keep their coat, markings and ears, even a gray muzzle. Results can vary, so you see a free preview before you pay.
Can I see it before I pay?
Yes. Your first preview is free, with no account and no card. Previews are watermarked, and you can make 5 free previews a day.
What happens to my photos?
They’re sent to our AI provider, fal.ai, only to check them and make your preview (we check your selfie as soon as you add it, so we can tip you off about a dark or blurry photo). When your preview starts, we keep small copies of your photos and your watermarked previews for 14 days, so our team can check the quality of what the AI made, then they’re deleted. If you ask us to email your preview, we keep it for 30 days. Location data is removed in your browser before upload. We never sell your photos or use them in marketing.
Which photos work best?
Clear, well-lit photos with faces easy to see. For you: just you, facing the camera, no sunglasses. For your pet: their whole head in view, nothing covering their face.
What if it isn’t right?
AI results can vary. If your full portrait isn’t right, email us within 14 days and we’ll redo it free, up to 3 times. If we still can’t get it right, we’ll refund it.
Can I get it printed?
We don’t sell prints yet. You get a high-resolution digital file to keep and print wherever you like. Prints are on our list for later.
